The traditional assessment system, like quizzes, exams, and essays, is not sufficient to assess the holistic learning of students, as it is often criticized for its limitations in assessing the holistic learning of students. While these methods may effectively measure certain aspects of knowledge recall and basic comprehension, they often fall short in evaluating students' critical thinking skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and real-world application of knowledge. The two main reasons why the traditional assessment system is considered insufficient in assessing holistic learning. Traditional assessments often focus on memorization and regurgitation of information rather than understanding and application. Memorization consume precious time for unproductive learning, and waste energy that could be better used for productive and useful learning and experience. It kills the creativity of students and it never gives freedom to students to go and think out of the box. Whatever lessons and learning are memorized, those are quickly forgotten. Memorized lessons and learning never helps in a real-time and real situation when students face problems in their life.
